Silent Awareness

There are many films that document war ravaged countries and the devastating effects these conflicts have, especially on children.  One such documentary film is War Dance.  After viewing it I was very affected by two particular scenes in the film.  The message of these scenes were imbued  with such powerful, heart-wrenching emotion that I couldn’t stop thinking about them.  So, I went back to the movie and captured some scenes as still photos from one particular segment of the film.  I then imported them, first into Apple’s presentation program, ‘Keynote,’  were I wrote the script, and then into ‘Final Cut Express,’ Apple’s movie making program, to created the silent movie.  I may redo it again, but this version, I believe, still conveys a very important and powerful message.
Please do whatever you can, whenever you can to render assistance to the children in our world that need and rely upon us as their only source of human hope for their essential and on-going daily needs.
