Welcome to My Notebook

    Update: Friday, August 3, 2011

    The primary purpose of this website is to serve as a public memorial to my my son, Matthew and my mother. I am also hoping to have a dedicated page for my father in the near future.

    The secondary purpose is to share some creative expression and other details about my life. Years ago I was intrigued with the notion about how wonderful it would be if, after meeting or knowing someone, I could visit his or her personal or family website.  I thought, “What a wonderful concept, i.e., everyone coming together as far as the Internet reaches, (which is practically the whole world) and sharing certain aspects of our lives with each other.”   It was an idea about the potential of our modern technologies bringing people closer together by fostering more familiarity in the spirit of openness, understanding, and good will.

    However, with the passing of the years, Internet sites such as “Facebook,” various blog sites, YouTube, etc have become so ubiquitous and free of charge, perhaps it is no longer necessary to maintain an exclusive ‘Belfiglio’ web domain.  I have yet to make a final determination, but if anyone visiting this site has an opinion or a desire to have it remain in existence, then please email me: beachhill@cox.net or paul@belfiglio.net

    I look forward to hearing from you.

When revisiting this site you may want to empty your browser’s cache, then refresh the page to ensure you are viewing the latest update.

Technical Notes:

1.  There is no tracking or monitoring code embedded anywhere within these pages.
2.  There are three ways to navigate within this web site:
    1)  clicking on the ‘page fold’ area at the top right of each page to turn the pages back and forth;
    2)  going to the “Contents” page and click on a ‘button’ or page number;
    3)  clicking on a tab at the side of this web notebook.
3.  Some of these pages require QuickTime in order to play the audio and video content, and they may take some time to load depending upon the speed of your     Internet connection. NOTE: Right clicking or ‘Control’ clicking (single button Mac mouse) on the ‘start’ triangle in the progress bar may keep the audio/video clip on the page instead of opening a new window.
4. Again, when revisiting this site it may be necessary to empty your browser’s cache, then refresh the page to ensure you are viewing the latest update.
